Transactions of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics (issue Mechanics), Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences is an open access journal that publishes original, high quality research papers in all fields of mechanics. A special attention is paid to the following fields: solid and fluid mechanics: problems of elasticity, plasticity, vibrations and control, structures mechanics, multi-body dynamics, hydrodynamics, gasdynamics and multiphase flows, it also gives special attention to areas such as Non-Newtonian fluid dynamics and interface of mechanics and materials.

TIMM (issue Mechanics) welcomes papers that establish interesting and important new results or solve significant problems. All papers are refereed for correctness and suitability for publication. The journal is published in both print and online versions. The online version is available on an Open Access basis at http://transmech.imm.az.
